Frequently Asked Questions

We know it matters who you work with, and it’s important to feel confident, informed, and valued when making that choice. At Revolve Collective, we believe in transparency, trust, and keeping things clear from the start. Here are some of the most common questions people ask us about how we work and what to expect.

For Candidates and People We Place

What types of roles and industries do you support?
We specialise in education, youth work, mentoring, training, and related roles, from short-term placements to long-term opportunities. If it helps people thrive, we’re probably involved.

What makes Revolve Collective different?
We don’t just place people. We invest in them. We’re committed to the ongoing development and wellbeing of everyone who works with us. That means a tiered support system that includes self-care packages, access to retreats and networking events, and even paid wellbeing days. You’re not just a number to us - you’re part of something that values people, not just productivity.

Do I need to pay to use your service?
Nope. Never. Our recruitment support is free for candidates - always.

How soon can I start?

We move quickly. Once we've had an initial chat and the necessary checks are complete (including an enhanced DBS), placements can often begin shortly after. Every role we offer involves work with children, young people, or vulnerable individuals, so safeguarding is non-negotiable.

Can I turn a temporary placement into a permanent role?
Absolutely. Many of our placements start short-term and turn into permanent roles when the fit is right. We’re all about sustainable matches.

For Schools and Organisations We Support

What types of hiring arrangements do you offer?
We offer flexible options to suit your needs; including, temporary, contract-to-permanent, and direct permanent placements.

What makes Revolve Collective different?
We’re serious about the wellbeing and development of the people we recruit. Why? Because when staff are supported and resourced, they thrive, and so do the young people they work with. Our model reduces burnout, increases consistency, and strengthens outcomes for your setting.

We also reinvest in the bigger picture: 10% of our retained profits go into a charitable arm that schools and organisations can apply to, helping fund extracurricular activities that support the wellbeing and holistic growth of children and young people.

How do you vet candidates?

Every candidate we place undergoes a robust process, including reference checks, a values-based interview, and an enhanced DBS check, no exceptions. Safeguarding is central to everything we do, regardless of the role.

How long does the hiring process take?
We usually provide candidate options within a few days. Full placement depends on the role, but we’re known for our speed and attentiveness.

Can you provide support beyond recruitment?
Yes. Through Revolve: CPD (training), we also offer mentoring, training, and practitioner development for individuals and teams.

How Our Placements Work

What does “temp-to-perm” mean?
You can bring in a practitioner on a temporary basis (usually around 12 weeks), then decide if you’d like to offer them a permanent role. It’s a flexible way to find the right long-term fit, for both parties.

Do you offer permanent placements as well as temporary ones?
Yes, we support a range of placement types, including temporary, fixed-term, and direct permanent roles. We’ll always discuss what best fits your needs and the context of the role.

What if a placement isn’t working out?
We stay involved. If something isn’t quite right, we’ll work with both parties to resolve it, whether that means additional support, a new match, or finding a better fit. You're not left to figure it out alone.
