Safeguarding Statement
At Revolve Collective, safeguarding is not a checkbox. It's culture. It’s relationship. It’s a promise.
Whether we are working directly with young people or placing staff into schools, our commitment to safety is grounded in dignity, compassion, and justice. We recognise every child and young person as an individual with agency, voice, and value; and we work with the conviction that they deserve not just to be protected, but to be nurtured, listened to, and championed.

Who We Are
Revolve Collective is a character-first organisation that exists to support people well: in classrooms, workplaces, and life. Through two core arms: Revolve: AP (provision) and Revolve: ED (recruitment), we provide direct relational services and place brilliant people into education settings. Across both areas, safeguarding is foundational to everything we do.

Our Commitments
-
We uphold the rights and dignity of every child and young person.
-
We create safe environments by fostering strong relationships and safe systems.
-
We ensure all staff, candidates, and volunteers are fully vetted and trained to understand their safeguarding duties.
-
We approach safeguarding as a shared responsibility, embedded in our culture, language, and leadership.
Safer Recruitment
All individuals working with children through Revolve are subject to:
-
Enhanced DBS checks
-
Right to work verification
-
Reference and safeguarding screening
-
Ongoing CPD and compliance reviews
We are also committed to fair recruitment. Where applicants have criminal records, we assess on a case-by-case basis, recognising that people may have pasts shaped by adversity, but also redemption. However, we do not allow anyone on the Barred List or known to have harmed children to work with us in any capacity.
Clear Boundaries
-
Revolve employees working directly with young people may communicate to arrange appointments, but only through work accounts and must document all contact.
-
Revolve candidates placed in schools must not have any private contact with pupils or students outside of the setting.
-
In both cases, personal phones, messaging apps, or social media accounts must not be used for communication under any circumstance.
Creating a Safe Culture
Safeguarding isn't an isolated policy. It's a culture we lead with. We believe that every young person deserves:
-
To feel safe, seen, and respected.
-
To be heard without fear.
-
To grow in spaces where adults are accountable and nurturing.
And our team deserves to work in an environment where:
-
Boundaries are clear.
-
Allegations are taken seriously but handled fairly.
-
Support is available when safeguarding issues arise.
